Katzelkraft - Make our Planet Great Again

Hi Everyone, did you know that Katzelkraft has other amazing stamps, besides their quirky critters? I love those Coneflowers. And of course the sentiment! Too funny! This card was super easy to make. I first stamped the cone flowers onto water color paper with Catherine Pooler inks. I love that I don't need my Misti with those inks, as they are so juicy and give great coverage. I stamped the sentiment (used my stamp positioner to get it exactly where I wanted it). Inked up an acrylic block and spritzed it with water and stamped it. After it dried I doodled a frame around it. Added white gel pen accents to the sentiment. Picked up some left over ink from the acrylic block and added it to the cone flowers.  You think you want those stamps? You can get them directly from France: coneflower , sentiment or in the US at Topflight Stamps , Frantic Stamper or Lost Coast Designs Happy Stamping! Stampotique - Limited Edition

Hi Everyone, I wanted to introduce the filmstrip stamp from Stampotique's new release. You can populate it with anything, but I focused on the funky Stampotique characters. On the left you see Spongul , then Queenie  and Moses only partially. The sentiment is from the phrase cube #3 . I colored with my favorite Inktense pencils. Happy Stamping!

Twofer Card Challenge #2

Hi Everyone, here come my last minute projects for the Twofer Card Challenge #2 . The theme is heart. Not so easy.....  First I couldn't think of what heart to use and then once I decided to make my own heart stamp from a die and fun foam what to do with it.... Well, you see what I came up with: Card #1 is done with generational stamping. I used my new Catherine Pooler inks for this and they are fabulous. The big sentiment is by Neat&Tangled.Mounted it onto a black card base. Card #2 uses the same heart, but sideways. I turned it into fish - doodles some fins and added googly eyes. The awesome bubbles are by Ryn Tanaka. It's about time to use them again....The die cut at the bottom is from Lifestyle Crafts. The sentiment is by Your Next Stamp. So, here you have it - same stamp, different themes, completely different cards, jumbled brain, puh......! Linking up with: Twofer Card Challenge  - hearts Simon Says Wednesday

Peek-A-Boo

Hi Everyone, along time ago I bought those holes from Katzelkraft and I never got around to use them, tsk, tsk, tsk. The ostrich is fairly new. Those two are made for each other, I think.... I even took some pictures during the process, so you can see how it came about. I first stamped the ostrich. I used a trip of washi tape to mask off the neck. I used a stamp positioner to stamp the ostrich into the hole And then I colored the bird with my Inktense pencils. The hole I colored with water colors. Added the sentiment. Trimmed off a bit from the bottom and added a strip of patterned paper. Where else besides France can you get those stamps? Well, Frantic Stamper and Topflight Stamps are your go to stores in the US. Don't be a Prick

Hi everyone, I saw this funny pun on Pinterest and I had to turn it into a card. Stampotiques' cactus row was the first thing that came into my mind and the ever so useful Alpha Background is just the prefect thing to make your own sentiments! I stamped and water colored. The ground I made with Brushos. Added the sentiment.  Pretty easy.... Happy Stamping!
