Uniko Wreath

Hi Everyone,

I won this wonderful little stamp set by Unkio and made this simple little Christmas card immediately to thank Beverly for sending me this little treasure. And now the HLS Christmas challenge is coming to an end, so I have to get this card in....

I heat embossed the wreath in white, sponged lime green ink over it and added the little pine cone and berry sprays. Added little bits of Stickles to the berries.
I put an eyelet through the top and added a red ribbon.

Money Book

Hi Everyone,

today I don't have a card - I am showing you the playbook I made for my son for Christmas.

He is a teenager and only craves money to spend on computer games....
so I had some fun, too, pulling out all sorts of supplies - Die Craft dies (Santa and Moose), STAMPlorations stamps (Funky deer), Memory Box (Santa hat), Santa Gnome (Paper Source) star panel and stars (Simon Says) and my favorite little devil (Alexandra Renke) - it turns into an angel, when you amputate the tail and horns...

And lots of Washi tape, of course!

It was a big success!

My stamp supplies:

I used some clear embossing paste and did some sponging (after masking the cup). Added sequin snowflakes and a leftover strip of paper I had from THIS card.

Glittery Christmas Card

Hi Everyone,

I still have some Christmas cards to share - hopefully by now they have reached their destination..... This one I made for The Heart Desires challenge - fell in love with their pretty inspiration photo.

I used my new dies by Alexandra Renke, some glitter paper and silver embossing powder for the sentiment (Hero Arts). The silvery snowflakes are printed on some sheer wrapping fabric, that I bought a long time ago for crafting - it will last me a life time....

A very "girly" Christams card!

Muse Challenge #197

Hi Everyone,

I am done making Christmas cards - too late for them to arrive.....whoever has not made it on to my mailing list now gets a New Years card (or a Valentine's Day card...)

Thankfully the Muse challenge supplies us with inspiration for New Years cards - I jumped on that ....

My supplies:
Memory Box dies
stamps by happy Little Stampers

This is Jenni's inspiration - how cool is that? Love the cityscape in those big numbers, but I did not want to repeat that

So I went the more conventional route. Did some background sponging and added glittery Washi tape.

Merry Christmas to all of you!

Kreativprojekt mit Alexandra Renke: Advent-Blog-Hop Türchen 22

Hi Everyone,

today I have a very special blog post. I am one of the lucky participants in Alexandra Renke's Kreativproject. I was just overjoyed to be among the "chosen"! There are 65 participants from all over the world creating amazing projects with Alexandra's beautiful products. The idea is to say thank you to a special person.

Hallo meine Lieben,

My main project if for a special friend of mine, I met her during my student years, more than 30 years back. She is one of the sweetest, most helpful people I know.  When my daughter recently moved to Munich she offered generously to stay in her apartment that she still rents there (she no longer lives there) for free and she even came by to visit her and help her to get settled.

So she really deserves an big Thank You!

I made a Diorama for her, creating a winter scene with all those art papers that were in Alexandras packet. A winter scene with an angel, who watches whats happening on earth

Here is a close-up without the frame:
Eine Nahaufnahme ohne Rahmen:

And of course the diorama needs an appropriate box. So I made one. Using the gorgeous red wood paper that came in me package and some other papers, the angel again and the star end embellies. The best thing is the little gold heart. It looks like metal, but it is actually metallic fabric - never seen anything like it! Ideal for cards and shipping - I must have more!!!!

There were so many delightful things in my package that I kept on making things - like those pillow boxes for my wonderful work colleagues:

Nachdem so viele tolle Sachen in meiner Kiste waren hab ich gleich weitergebastelt - ein paar Pillowboxes für meine netten Arbeitskollegen:

And of course I made a few cards for all the wonderful people that helped me out and enriched my life throughout the year!

Just some words about the card supplies:
Karten Material Info:
top left: paper - Alexandra Renke, die cut stars: Lil Inkers, gold embroidery thread
top right: embossing folder and die cuts - Alexandra Renke, silver embroidery thread, sequins
bottom left: embossing folder - Alexandra Renke, word art screen, dies - Memory Box, Cutplorations copper embroidery thread, copper bell - Alexandra Renke
bottom right: stamp and die cuts - Alexandra Renke, Inka Gold paste and Fine Tec gold watercolors

The material for the cards below are the same as above. Mainly used the pretty papers, the tiny star embossing folder and the Christmas bauble die cut for them, as well as a round Thank you stamp.

My two fellow hoppers (you don't want to miss them) today are:

and
Nicole from Die Kreative

And if you are curious who's hopping tomorrow:

Anke from Einfach Art
Manuela from Paper Life Style
Sarah from My Impressions

Everyday has been a real eye-candy  - you might want to look at all the participants!

----------------

Here is a little peek of what was in the box - I did not photograph all the big papers, as they were badly crumpled - my heart was bleeding when I saw this - but I managed, as you can see.

Here is a photo of the package, when it arrived at my house - I think an elephant was sitting on it, tsk, tsk, tsk

Have fun hopping!
Viel Spass beim Blog hüpfen!

Hi Everyone,

for the last few days the Joy Clair team is going to show you their favorite cards they made throughout the year. Today is my turn.

Ein kleines Teufelchen - a little Devil

Hi Everyone,

I had fun today, making this card - is it a Christmas card - I guess not - after all there is a little devil sitting in front of my stylized water colored tree - I guess its dreaming about Christmas...

You have seen this little devil before - disguised as an angel HERE and HERE, but today I show him in its "natural" beauty ;)

I added Fine Tec gold water color splatters and the star is a die cut by Lil' Inkers. The devil you can find HERE. He is just too cute!

If you want to see more of Alexandra Renke's beautiful products come by on December 22nd - I'll have a big surprise for you, but I won't say more for now.....

Muse ChristmasVisions #75

Hi everyone,

I still needed more Christmas cards, so again Muse Christmas Vision comes to the rescue...

I am a bit silly here - using STAMPlorations stamps and dies in addition to those silly googly eyes.
somehow Chris Blagrave's card) - reminded me about vellum. so I heat embossed the deer onto vellum and attached them to black card stock.

Here is the inspiration card:

Stamp Connection #20

Hi Everyone,

Connected through our love for card making, blogging and being from Germany we (Tanja from Little Art Cottage and I) decided to create a monthly project within predefined requirements. We are going to show you the result every 3rd Sunday of the month and this is our ninth transatlantic get-together!

This time it was Tanja's turn to pick the requirements:
 "Winter + not a card"

So I made an Advent calendar for my son. He likes the kind with the chocolate inside. Its made out of toilet paper rolls. The numbers are stickers I found at Michaels. Topped it with a green bow and filled it with goodies ;)
