Hi Everyone, its INSPIRATION day again at  STAMPlorations !  Again our wonderful DT made some beautiful cards to entice you playing with your stamps or stencils - STAMPlorations or otherwise. And perhaps I can also inspire you to play along with us! I went with one of my favorite old sets  Oh, Christmas Tree!  and inked up one of the trees with my Kaleidocolor inkpad. Mounted the sentiment made from a snippet of white card stock with foam tape and added gold thread with tiny gold beads. Added Stickles for extra glitter. So, if you are up for it - CASE my card or any other card and link it up  HERE  over at STAMPlorations. The InLinkz gallery  will be open until the 5th of August - gives you plenty of time! YOU & ME

Hi Everyone, I made this card for the A Blog Named Hero challenge - make the sentiment the star. I thought that  set   You and Me that I have needed to be inked up again....it has been collecting dust, LOL! I went with the colors from this weeks Cosmic Strawberry challenge - aren't they delicious?!! I first made the card without the splatters, but then I thought it looked somewhat naked. So splatters it was....Used my Simon Says rectangular stitched die to cut the white card panel and mounted it onto a Kraft base - needed to get that brown color in somehow.... Also linking up with: Inkspirational - anything goes with Kraft Simon Says Monday challenge - I scream for - obviously I scream for YOU By the way the  monthly challenge  at A2z Scrapbooking is still open through the end of the month - the theme is CAS.    You need to use Hero Arts Products. And if you need any scrapbooking items the  a2z Scrapbooking store  takes care of all yo

Happy Birthday Becca!

Hi Everyone, I made that card for Becca - The Damsel of Distressed - I am sure you know her blog - if not you may want to visit her - I promise you won't be disappointed! Becca is fun, full of energy and has her won fabulous style! Now she is celebrating her birthday and she has a mood board - if you want to join in . She also raffles of 7 prizes, woot, woot! I guess its easy to see what inspired me on her mood board! Used that bird from Unity stamps, a stencil frorm Prima and the rest (glasses and sentiment) is by Paper Smooches. I double die cut the glasses and mounted them with a tiny piece of foam tape to give them more dimension. Added reflections to the eyes and colored that little heart in red. Also linking up with: CAS on Sunday  - see sketch below The Paper Players  - frames        Happy Stamping!

Going Grey

Hi Everyone, I am going Grey for Sunday Stamps  - could not resist their inspiration picture - see below. And I also wanted to play with this weeks   Addicted to CAS chevron challenge. And I have the perfect stamp for it, I think. The Line upon Line  stamp from The Alley Way Stamps. As you all can guess - they made that one for me ;) - cool and graphic - just my thing!  I heat embossed it in clear and die some ombre sponging with Black Soot distress ink. The sentiment is also from TAWS  - all about YOU . Added seam binding. The arrow is from my die cut scrap pile. I could not resist to add the tiny neon pink strip - a little snippet lying around on my craft table. It might disqualify me from the Sunday Stamp challenge, but I could not resist. This card need a teeny tiny bit of color.... The sequin is actually pink as well, but looks purple in the picture. Hope you like it and hopefully I will not get disqualified... Happy Stamping! Birthday Fishes

Hi Everyone, I have not played in the YNS challenges in a while - always too many other challenges to participate and I kept missing the deadlines...NOT this time!!! I don't do a lot of sketches, but I really liked that one. Ignored the color challenge - you don't have to combine the two. I first wanted to use a stencil for the water strip, but then I came upon this patterned paper, that has been in my stash now pretty much forever. Time to use it!!! It has a nice shimmer to it - does not really show in the picture..... This is the sketch and the stamp set :   I don't think that card requires a lot of explanation on how I did it. So I'll spare you that. Filled up the shaker with microbeads only to not distract from the cute fish. Also linking up with: Seize The Birthday - anything birthday Use Your Stuff - anything goes Can you CASE it? - anything goes AAA Cards - water world and dies Best Fishes to all of you!

Stamp Connection #5

Connected through our love for card making, blogging and being from Germany we (Tanja from   Little Art Cottage   and I) decided to create a monthly project within predefined requirements. We are going to show you the result every 3rd Sunday of the month and this is our fifth transatlantic get-together! This time it was my turn to pick the requirements : Winnie's & Walter's Big Hi Die & a Stencil And here is my card: I die cut the "Hi" from fun foam. Gives dimension and makes for easy shipping.   All my other supplies are also W&W. I used the Bubble Talk stencil  for  the  speech bubble  and  the  sentiments are from  the  set   The Big, the Bold and Party .   Added enamel dots. Linking up with: Winnie & Walter - Just for Julie's birthday Winnie & Walter  - join in to win Simon Says Monday challenge  - anything goes Bizzy Becs July challenge  - anything goes Now aren't you curious wha

Non Christmas card with Christmas stamps

Hi Everyone, here is a challenge just to my liking - and I have thought about this in the past, wishing somebody would offer that as a challenge - make a non Christmas card with Christmas stamps - and here it is - put on by Make the  Day Special Stamp Store ! Hurrah! I used this ancient Hero Arts set - love that one and picked that skinny bare Christmas tree. Stamped a half circle at the top of my card with Versamark and heat embossed it in white. I then masked the wedges and sponged them with distress inks in rainbow colors.  The sentiment is from the set  OWH Year Round sentiments . Also  heat embossed it in white. I die cut the card stock using the stitched square die by Simon Says Stamps, glued it onto fun foam and mounted it onto a white card base. Added the silver embroidery thread and tiny sequins.  So how do you like that challenge theme? You can also play in this month A2z Scarpbooking Store Challenge - its CAS as a theme - you have to use a Hero A

Rainbow Chrysanthemum

Hi Everyone, this is my second post for at  A2Z Scrapbooking  :))). Perhaps you know that we have a  CAS challenge at A2Z Scrapbooking  this month and perhaps you want to play along! I am also keeping it clean and simple with my card: I first inked up my paper in rainbow colors and then die cut it using the Hero Arts Chrysanthemum die (DI062). Glued it onto the cardstock. The sentiment is heat embossed and from the set   Hello Sunshine . I mounted it onto a scrap piece of PP and added some of the petals from the die.      I hope you will get a chance to join our  monthly challenge .    Remember - Hero Arts Products are required.  This challenge runs though the end of the month. You have a chance to win a $25 gift card to the a2z Scrapbooking Store.
